Gruppo Bonatesta consists of a set of companies dealing with all the fields of national and international transport market . Services offered are mainly combined transport by road, sea and rail, port operations, warehouse activities, management, handling and distribution of goods in transit on behalf of third parties.

The headquarters and the logistic base are located in Brindisi, in a crucial position between the port, the railway station, civil and military airports and motorway , including a fenced area of 50.000 square meters (of which 6000 s.m. of sheds) inside harbor area, very next to a wharf of 280 meters.

The Group has also a branch site in Patra dealing with logistic and commercial activities in Greek territory; thanks to its operational base of 12.000 s.m. in the vicinity of the port of Patras, Bonatesta Group is able to manage its traffic not only all over the Greece but also in other countries of the East Europe such as Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey.

The Group started its business in traditional trucking activities and subsequently evolved in the field of multimodal transport: the company now presents itself as a global carrier able to cover all transport segments, with steady improvements in terms of performance and services (the entire transports process is in the hands of a single provider), as well as in terms of costs (the integrated management of services allows customers to gain efficiency along the supply chain and thus achieving economies of scale).

The strength of Bonatesta Group consists in the richness of its fleet and equipments that now includes : 400 units for intermodal transport (20’ / 30’ / 45’) , 50 trucks, 200 trailers and chassis for general goods and container transport, 2 reach stacker for handling containers and swap bodies, and tug master to roll trailers on / off board vessels – ashore and vice versa.

Above all it is thanks to its human resources and to the know-how built in years of exceptional and professional commitment, that the Group owes its ability to operate and grow, looking beyond traditional modality of transport and aiming at a continuous improvement of its services and to be always leader in its range of activities.

NEW SEA LINE RAVENNA - IGOUMENITSA - PATRAS

From the beginning of January 2014, in cooperation with Grimaldi Lines, Bonatesta Group is now offering a new sea trasport service starting from Ravenna and continuing towards Igoumenitsa and Patras. Merchandise will then be shipped to its destinations.

INTERMODAL LINE BRINDISI - MILANO SEGRATE & VICE VERSA

From the 28th of February 2014, Bonatesta Group will add a 4th weekly train to extend the intermodal line Brindisi - Milano (Segrate).

From the 1st of July our firm is going to offer a new intermodal line on the rail track Brindisi-Milano (Segrate) & vice versa.

Initially, the weekly amount of trains will be a total of three (six train journeys overall). Scrolling down the text you can find all the details concerning to the time schedules and train usage disposal, in order to get the best of this service.

Alongside the cooperation with Grimaldi Group company owing to already existing agreements, we can offer a continuity in the journey from Milano towards Brindisi Terminal with departure from Brindisi port towards all Greek, Balcans, Sicilian (Catania), Albania, Malta and Tripoli destinations & vice versa ( have a glance to the attached file which illustrates Grimaldi Group’s services).
